In South America coffee cherries is a common food for pigs during coffee season.

I wouldn't want to eat them...that sounds delicious but when you know what it really is, you'll have second thoughts about eating them. Coffee cherries are simply the beans before they turn green and way before the process of being turned into whole roasted coffee beans.
