With a blade grinder the fineness of the grind is determined by how long you let the grinder operate. The longer it grinds the finer the coffee becomes.

I see there is a great discussion about blade and burr grinders since my last visit here \r\n\r\nBtw, my new MC2002 Saeco grinder works very well. Thanks to all of you!
