Default inexpensive burr grinder

Not so long ago I purchased a new coffee machine (and this forum advices helped me to make my choice) and now I need a decent grinder. \r\n\r\nAs far as I know burr grinders are better than blade ones. Though I can purchase only inexpensive burr grinder. Can anyone advice is it a good choice? Will inexpensive grinder influence coffee in any way?

I always hold the opinion, that when you purchase something for your home choose the best you can afford. \r\n\r\nAs for inexpensive burr grinder, it may give you a bad consistency in the size of your grounds, also it may create a greater amount of dust which will taste bitter.

If you cannot afford expensive grinder, choose Solis Maestro. It is about $75. It should work fairly well. I know also Maestro Plus and Gaggia MDF are rather good grinders.

Default Solis Maestro

Yes, Solis Maestro is a good grinder. There are things that could be improved on it, but generally it is an amazing little product.

Default La Pavoni

I like La Pavoni products. Both espresso machines and grinders. Some of them are rather expensive though. You may choose La Pavoni pa-burr Grinder. It is inexpensive, but the only problem is static and as the result they this grinder is rather messy. I would rather choose Jolly Burr Grinder of La Pavoni.

I know that some Hi-Fi enthusiasts use an anti-static device on their vinyl records. These devices emit an invisible and harmless stream of electrically charged particles called 'ions' which successfully neutralise static.

\r\n\r\nActually burr coffee grinder are recommended for use with espresso machines. They deliver a consistent grind while preserving the coffee bean flavor with a very low grinding temperature. Blade coffee grinders do a fine job as well at an economical price.

\r\n\r\nYes, I also do not like cheap products. \r\nBuy the best or do not buy \r\n\r\nBecause if I choose the cheapest, it will break after some months of use and I have to buy a new unit and spend even more money. Or spend this money for repair. \r\n\r\nSo what's the use in wasting money three or four times for cheap unit instead of buying an expensive and using it for years?
