It has some problems with static. Capresso does not resolve the static issue as well as some other grinder brands. Apart from this this grinder is well designed.

The Infinity is awesome for any grind. It grinds with very good consistency in particle size as well. I own the brushed chrome model and I truly think the metal housing and grounded 3-prong electrical cord eliminate static. I have no problems whatsoever. It's a fantastic grinder, is easy to adjust and clean, looks good, is fairly quiet, etc. I just can't say enough about mine. Another plus is that both burrs can be replaced if the need ever arises. The bottom burr is spring-loaded which allows the burr to flex if needed due to very hard beans or rocks, thus eliminating damaged burrs. That's a really neat feature they decided to add. BTW, the ABS plastic Infinity can be had for $90 and I guarantee it'll keep up with anything in the $200+ range. It has all the features and capabilities of the metal units, just has the ABS housing. Later!
