.\r\n\r\nI don't know about easier. I buy my beans on line and they are delivered\r\n to my door. Also, you can buy your coffee pre-ground from a roaster.\r\n It's just that those of us who feel that to get the most from your coffee\r\n experience you should use the freshest roasted beans and grind them \r\nyour self. Ground coffee starts to loose its freshness and flavour within\r\n hours of grinding. However, it's still ten times better that what's available\r\n at your grocery store.\r\n\r\nAs far as cheaper, yes it is.

I think a good grinder must be flexible and make consistent grind. I hate powdered coffee mixed with larger grounds.
