Default grinder: to buy or not to buy?

It is well known that the best tasting coffee comes from freshly ground coffee beans. So to have great coffee at home one should normally buy a grinder, but there may be some problems...

Yes, I hate grinders for their noisiness and mess all over the counter, but anyone who likes coffee should own a grinder.

It's very convenient to have your own espresso equipment at home.

\r\n\r\n30 seconds of noise and what mess is there. What kind of grinder are you using that it goes on the counter.\r\nI use mine 2 or 3 times a day. The coffee goes in the container. \r\nIf you want the best coffee you can get then deffinetly grind your own beans.\r\n\r\nBob

Any coffee experts will tell you that you need to grind your own beans in a high tech grinder in order for your espresso to be any good.

If you are serious about espresso, do buy an espresso grinder and grind the beans just before brewing. Or you can buy your espresso beans in small amounts and have the shop grind them for you.
