Default Where are you from?

It's obvious from the things people talk about in this forum that many (and probably most) of the people on this forum are not from my home country (US). \r\n\r\nI posted this to get a feel for where everyone is from. \r\n\r\nI'm from the US where for the most part the coffee is beyond horrible - unless you go to a specialty shop. The best coffee I've ever had is European because it's pressure-brewed. It's a shame that so many people in the US don't know what good coffee is.

It seems to me that many of the people who are posting in this forum that English is not their native language. Of course, I may be wrong.

I have never heard of coffee grown in America. It always seemded to me there are some good places with hot climate in the southeast. So why don't they grow coffee?
