Homeroasting takes a special talent that I just can't seem to grasp. I stick to ordering all my coffee roasted and ground. Besides, I get all my coffee from S&W and it the Colombian is the best I've tasted anywhere.\r\nTake care, 8) \r\nJoe

By the way, ground coffee stales after about 5 minutes of being ground.\r\nThere is also a very good reason why that particular Colombian is pre-ground, it hides how bad the quality of the bean is, at least visually, but you can still taste how bad it sucks.

Pre-ground? Do you even know what your are talking about? This coffee is vacuum packed.\r\n\r\nAll of the beans we use for S&W are top quality Premium Grade or higher. Colombian happens to be our best selling S&W product. Don't hate, learn to appreciate a little lesson in coffee beans. \r\n\r\nAdditionally, you may want to refrain from negative comments; it show a lack of intelligence on your part and gives a negative perception of you.\r\n\r\nJoe 8)

Joe,\r\nAs for a lesson in coffee, I'll school ya'! You yourself said your coffee was ground, vaccum packing does little more than remove the allready present oxygen from the coffee.\r\n You said, "home roasting takes a special talent you just can't seem to grasp" I use my many talents and years of experience on a daily basis when roasting my carefully selected coffee.\r\nAs for negative comments, this is a forum for discussion and learning and I just happen to be using you as an example of what is NOT good coffee.\r\nHave a nice day!

oh what the heck...since I started this lesson. I can tell you the Origin, Producer, and Lot# of every bag of green coffee I buy. On many of my coffees I can tell you the plantation owners name, have been to the actual plantation itself and spent time with the foreman and workers. I have seen how abnormal weather conditions, disease, improper pruning and maintnance affect a certain crop. In all honesty I'd be very surprised if you even knew what year (how old) your coffee is at any given time.\r\nI carefully drum roast all of my coffees to bring out each individual coffee's best characterisics and ship them either the same or next day after roasting.\r\nAs for a negative perception, you always run that risk when you are defending truth and good coffee!

Check out www.coffeeholding.com to answer any questions you may have concerning the beans we buy, roast and grind. \r\n\r\nAs far as your website is concerned, it gives no info for an interested consumer. Let me give you some advice: Everything you've told me in the previous summaries, list the same on your website. It might help your sales pick up. Plus, it definately needs some work. I know a gentleman that can give you some help. Let me know if you want his contact.\r\n\r\nI don't home roast, I let the experts here handle that here at our plant. They were trained by our consultant with 30 years experience roasting in Brazil with Lilla Roasters. Need I say more?\r\n\r\nThanks for the lesson, but I've heard it already. We do the same.\r\n\r\nJoe 8)
