Default French Bread Loaf

This bread is totally cool. It looks like a normal loaf of white bread but it tastes and has the crust of one of those french sticks you buy in the store. I make it to serve with homemade stew. I also make loaves for my older sister as she is on a sugar reduced diet and there is no sugar in this recipe. I am posting the 1 1/2 pound loaf size because when I make this size it almost hits the glass on the bread maker when it rises so I can not imagine what would happen if I made the 2 pound recipe.. :? \r\n\r\n1 1/4 + 1 tablespoon warm water\r\n1 1/4 teaspoons salt\r\n3 1/2 cups bread flour\r\n2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast.\r\n\r\nMy bread maker has a French/Italian setting so I make the loaf on that, but you can use the White Bread setting. Just a note that the dough is stickier than regular dough.
