Default Garlic BRead

1 cup warm water (70° to 80°)\r\n\r\n1 tablespoon butter or margarine, softened\r\n\r\n1 tablespoon nonfat dry milk powder\r\n\r\n1 tablespoon sugar\r\n\r\n1-1/2 teaspoons salt\r\n\r\n4-1/2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes\r\n\r\n2 teaspoons garlic powder\r\n\r\n3 cups bread flour\r\n\r\n2 teaspoons active dry yeast\r\n\r\nIn bread machine pan, place all ingredients in order suggested by manufacturer. Select basic bread setting. Choose crust color and loaf size if available. Bake according to bread machine directions (check the dough after 5 minutes of mixing; add 1 to 2 tablespoons of water or flour if needed). Yield: 1 loaf, 16 slices (about 1-1/2 pounds).

Another yummy-sounding easy recipe! I wonder how much it would affect the recipe, if I add more garlic powder. I love garlic bread. Guess I'd probably need to add a little more liquid.

I wish I could add more garlic too but sometimes too much garlic for my husband makes his stomach churn so I have to be careful with what I cook and how much garlic I add to things. :roll:

I don't think garlic powder would have the same affect as garlic. I just don't see it. It doesn't leave the same smell behind either.
