That is a really good question! I never even thought about it. I always just went ahead and made the bread. Maybe not the best idea. LOL! My More Bread Machine Magic book lists the same recipe for three size loaves. Small loaf is one cup of flour and large loaf is two cups of flour. So the more flour and liquid, the larger the loaf of bread. The machine doesn't matter.

I noticed that some of the recipes that were posted also have the loaf size. I know from friends that some bread machines can make loaves that are 2 different sizes depending on the recipe. My best friend has a Moulinex one that has recipes for 3 sizes of loaves. It is a really nice machine. I think they have a picture of it on the bread-machine.net website.

I have a machine that makes 3 lb loaves - not many recipes out for these. You can't just double a 1 1/2 lb loaf - it doesn't work out. \r\n\r\nDoes any one have a recipe for 3 lb loaves (uses about 5 cups of flour per loaf)\r\n\r\nThanks.! :?
