Cool Banana Raisin Peanut Bread

Kids will surely go for the timeless taste of peanut butter. Add this to the nutritional value of raisins and bananas. This recipe produces one loaf of bread.

2/3 c sugar (granulated) 3 tb Margarine or butter (melted) 1/3 c peanut butter
1 c bananas (2 medium ripe bananas, mashed) 2 eggs (large variety) 3 tb milk 1 ts baking powder 2 c flour (all purpose) 1/2 ts baking soda 1 c raisins 1/4 ts salt 1/2 c peanuts (roasted, chopped)

Preheat oven at about 350F. Use a 9x5in loaf pan. Grease the pan.

Mix peanut butter, butter, sugar and eggs. Stir the ingredients thoroughly. Add milk and banana and blend.

Combine baking powder, flour, baking soda and salt in a bowl. Add the mixture to the banana mixture. Stir thoroughly until the dry ingredients become moist.

Place peanuts and raisins inside the combined mixture and fold. Use a span for the batter. Place it into the pan.

Time the baking process for about 55-60 mins. Test it by putting a toothpick in the center. It is ready when the toothpick is clean when taken out.

Allow the pan to cool for about 10 mins. It is then removed from the pan. Set aside on a wire rack before serving.
