Smile Cyndi’s Apple Fall Harvest Bread

This recipe is best during the fall season. This is the time where apples grow plenty. You will love the combination of apples with cinnamon and vanilla.

2 eggs (large variety)
1 C sugar (light brown color)
1 C sour cream
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 C apples (peeled, diced)
1/2 teaspoons baking soda
3 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 c flour (whole wheat)
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 1/2 c flour (white)
1 c walnuts (cut into pieces)

Preheat oven first to 350F. Use a large bowl for the ingredients. Mix eggs, sugar, sour cream and vanilla thoroughly.

Place and mix the other ingredients. Mix them well. Do not add the walnuts and apples yet.

The walnuts and apples are then added and stirred to the mixture. Use either one large sized bread pan or two medium sized bread pans. Spray them with non-stick spray.

Add dough to the mixture before baking. Bake the mixture for about an hour. You can test if it is ready by inserting a toothpick in the center. The toothpick should be clean when taken out.

Place the pans on a wire rack. Allow the pans to cool. Set aside for as long as desired.

End of Recipe 19.
