...I bought an old toastmaster waffle maker at a garage sale that does nothing but make waffles. No griddles or grills or other blls or whistles. It's not coated with teflon but as I've used it for over 4 years now it has become nicely seasoned and the waffles never stick when they are removed. Like others have said, you'll find out the proper amount of batter to place in the maker, through trial and error, so it doesn't flow over the sides as the waffles rise and cook. If you like waffles you'll love making them the way you want...Fresh waffles are by far the best waffles...
