Default burr grinders

Hi Tala\r\n\r\nThere are two types of burrs. A flat burr wheel and a conical burr wheel.\r\nA conical burr grinder is better and gives a more uniform grind. However, if you are just using it for home use a flat burr will work quite well.\r\nI use a DeLonghi with flat burr wheels. I paid around $35 for it. I have had it for about a year and the only note I would make is the burrs seem to be loosing a bit of sharpness. I need to adjust the grind more. If I could afford it I would go to a cone burr next time. You can find good ones for around $50 to $75 for home use. If you are going to a commercial model you will pay more. Probably around $150 and up, depending on your particular need.\r\n\r\nHappy New year\r\n\r\nBob
