Personally I never used Farberware percolators. But I searched for the info about it and found the following instructions.\r\n\r\nFive steps to make coffee with a Farberware percolator:\r\n1. fill percolator with cold water to desired level (markings are given inside tank)\r\n2. measure grounds into filter basket\r\n3. insert basket on pump assembly\r\n4. replace lid\r\n5. and plug in.\r\n\r\nIt will switche to a keep-warm setting once brewing is completed.\r\n\r\nThat's very easy! As for your question.. How much coffee and grinder settings depend on the taste of coffee you like. With a new coffee machine I usually try these settings or others till I get a perfect cup of espresso. I do not follow the settings described in standard manuals, because it's very personal.
