Starters and Snacks :: Sweet Dips and Spreads
1 (8 oz.) block cream cheese
1 C. crushed nuts (walnuts, almonds, pecans or mixed)
1/2 C. flavored liqueur (apricot, peach, Kahla, etc.)
Using a fork, poke holes in cream cheese. Pour liqueur over cheese, allowing it to penetrate into cheese. Allow to soak for flavor to be absorbed.
Crush nuts on wax paper and roll cream cheese in nuts until completely covered.
Serve as appetizer or spread.
